Beating the Draw: 5
Okay, we have come to the end of the line for this series, but we still need to talk about observation. In particular, in order to beat the draw, you need to be aware of the hand history of the game you are playing. If there is a history available, check it as much as you can. Keep up on which cards have been played and what cards your opponents have had.
Keeping an eye on misrepresented draws is especially important. It is quite common to draw just a single card while actually holding trips. This may be indicative of two low or small pairs, or it can indicate an opponents’ draw. Keep an eye out for players who stand pat as well.
